THC moving opposite direction

im cutting 0.250 plate with a slight warp in it. i made a few test cuts. the voltage test was all good for the thc but when i make a straight line cut about 23 inches long the z axis moves up gradually and about 5 inches into the cut its no longer making arc contact with the material. could this be happening if the 50:1 voltage input to the THC has the polarity switched? using a machine torch with an everlast 60s

you should be using RAW voltage hooked up inside the cutter on the everlast cutters. They have an inherent problem using the divided voltage from the CNC port. There are a few posts on here explaining that.
