THC issues with a isolated USB adaptor

I got a isolated USB adaptor per the flow chart on the THC trouble shooting and it cause the the fire control to disconnect when running a cut file and when it happens it will keep the torch firing until I turn the power off on the plasma cutter. has anyone ran into this.

You have some other problem. That didn’t do it. Just my opinion. Do you have your plasma cutter on the 4T setting? Has this table ever worked before? Have you recently changed anything? Have you ever replaced the computer that had the “child process error” from a long time ago?
Report back.

yes it has work wonderful with my laptop. I decided to try toy intergrade a micro PC to the table and mount a monitor. I know it something with that but according to the troubleshooting chart it should of been fixed with the USB isolator.

Is the monitor mounted to the table frame? Post pictures of the installation, please. If it is, the monitor must be isolated from the table, or you will create a ground loop. The actual monitor chassis is or will be connected directly to the table. The computer, monitor, and Langmuir controller must be isolated from the frame.

Unmount it and try the table. Make sure it is not connected in any way to the table except through the USB cable. The isolator will help too.

ok I will give it a try thanks for the help.

Put some water on the table, or you will need to start a new thread.:sunglasses: Unmount the computer also. Make sure after you’re done that the table passes the Ohms test.

I was about to do that lol thanks. I have done that test with everything attached and it passed that test

Just unbolt it all and try it. I think that will solve your problem.
