I have a Hypertherm 45 xp w/machine tourch on the xr table. I use fine cut consumables cutting 14 ga metal art. I am confused if I should be using a deflector or shielded consumable. From what I read the I should be using the 220948 shield? Any help appreciated.

I wish I knew more about the Hyperthem…but from what I can remember, which is not much, is not…do not use deflector or shielded consumables… @TinWhisperer …what is your comment?
I like to run unshielded consumables quite often I find I get a little better kerf width the trade-off is a shorter consumable life.
