Safety Override - T25 Press Brake

Is there a way to override/bypass the 2 green button safety features on the T25 Press Brake?

Hard wire the connection closed?

I’m guessing they have a proper OSHA safety circuit that requires a confirmed reset each time. Wiring them closed would just make your machine not work.

Thank you!

Maybe. Lot of people do away with the arms, and marry the two switches together - one switch mounted to the panel.

Craig designed this for a 3D printer. I printed it and adjusted the buttons, and it works perfectly. Just a note: the buttons have spade connectors inside the arms. Be sure to loosen the switches and disconnect them right there; avoid the temptation to cut the wires inside the top of the machine.

I also updated my safety button mount. The right side hole cover still holds the hex wrench but now provides access to the USB port.

The green jog buttons look and feel great, they are low price, inferior quality chino junk IMO. Mine locked shut and I already crashed my ram once while in manual mode, so I direct mounted an American made Allen Bradley 800. I have only once jog switch that has both L&R wires soldered together to make both controlled by just ONE jog button. ( see my post on this if your interested )
