Is it wise to replace the steel slats with Stainless Steel? I’m sick of the rust and corrosion.
Thanks

I guess you could do it. If you use a plasma cutter conditioner, they last until they no longer exists. I use Sterling Cool. A 5-gallon pail will last months. Plus, the replacement slats are under $50 delivered from Langmuir. My only issue is that the pro table takes 12 or 13 slats, and there are 10 in the box.
Thanks, I haven’t heard of the Sterling Cool. Wow I just went to their site. It’s a no brainer. It’s exactly what I need. Thanks again
Just remember you need two sets. Hopefully the slates on the end are good. I keep the extra set on hand.
I’ve got 5 gals on the way! I didn’t know they made a product like that. I let my cutter sit for a few months and I couldn’t believe all the sludge and corrosion. What a mess. Took hours to clean. And I have oversized drains. This will make it tolerable. At work we rent our office from a Steel Fabricator so I have access to a lot of scrap metal. If you’re interested I just launch my new website. dannysworkshop.com. Thanks again!
Nice woodworking. I mix a quart or do with the water. It lasts longer than expected.
That stuff works great. Thanks again for the advice. Langmuir should list that as a must have. And they ship fast. Ordered it on Sunday, receive it on Wednesday.
