Remote XYZ Axis Control

I am not sure if this has been discussed in the past but I have my laptop is set 90 degrees to my table axis so when initially positioning the cutting torch I sometimes input the incorrect axis, and it’s almost impossible to locate the actual Work Zero in Firecontrol. I purchased a USB number pad that allows me to move freely in front of the machine bed and position the torch exactly where I want it. The number pad allows the control of the X, Y, and Z axis in both neg and pos directions. I purchased it on Amazon for $11.00 and it’s worth every penny.

Other options I use are an X-Box controller or my wireless keyboard. If you use an X-Box controller, I suggest using antimicrox software for the mapping.

Doesnt the pendant they sell in the store do that? Ive got a spare i bought for my MR1 and i was thinking about using it with the CP.

It was the reset button on the THC module. All is good, and a check of all axis travel is now within .001. Thank you for the response. I use a simple number keypad for remote positioning.
