All the breakers must terminate in the same service panel. I ran two 20 amp 120v and one 30amp 240v.
The touch screen and the coolant pump should be on different circuits, but it will probably work fine. I would hate to have a 1/4 hp pump motor on the computer circuit.
My understanding is that with the machine and spindle, it might be to separate the grounds so there isn’t a grounding issue… but I could be wrong.
On the touch screen / PC, I know that side and you don’t want a computer or any kind of sensitive electronics equipment on the same circuit as a pump, vacuum, or other big draw items because those cause spike and dips in the line which can damage the boards in the computer / electronics.
Unlike a plasma set up you want the machine to be on the same service ground. There will be no EMI or ground loop on your MR1. Note: I would not tig weld close by while the machine is running.
Funny you should say that. The DRO on our Bridgeport clone will freak out and go blank if we tig too close to the machine with the DRO on. Definite EMI evidence.
