Finally bit the bullet and got my MR1. I was curious what post processor you are using. I currently run Aspire 11 for all my CNC work (5x10 router mill) and have a custom PP for that. Not sure if there’s a custom one for the MR1 or what before I start crashing bits…
Already started to mod my MR1…
Willing to pay someone to help me with this. Trying to avoid having to buy another program for another machine.
Not sure how hard it is to mod a PP for Aspire…
Im not at all familiar with Aspire but I’d reach out to them for help.
If I remember correctly Aspire already has a GRBL post, give that a try it should work just fine.
I have one for V Carve Pro that should work. I primarily use V Carve for all 2D files. DM me your email and I would be happy to send it to you. I’ve sent it to a few other forum members.

I have a Post Processor that I made for the MR1, but I’m not sure how to post it on the website. I would be glad to give it to you. I’m running 9.5 and did a custom P.P. for a machine that I built. The MR1 was more finicky.
I’m working on one for Aspire 11 right now. I really don’t like sheetcam or the interface. I used the GRBL post from Vectric as a base, then I found a few videos on a guy who uses cut2d for posting his designs. I think I’m going to go that route myself. I like the aspire interface a lot better than SheetCam.

So far the PP I’m using is ok. I still need to adjust the code to make the spindle stop when it raises up after the last cut. Haven’t really dug into it yet. Been fixing/modifying the machine lately…
