Side note, why are you using the thumb screw on your torch mount with a machine torch?

That is meant strictly for hand torches using the hand torch mount.

I see it often and it’s odd…it won’t even fit with certain machine torches.

That swirl ring is for the PT/IPT/PTM 80 torch’s. The PT/IPT/PTM 60 torch’s is this one.

When you’re with the plasma cutter and table and have the time, give me a call. We will get it taken care of.

I hear your the wizard whith the 62i to crossfire pro connection!!! Im having troubles, my plasma wont fire. I have a 62i with the machine torch, ive got good air pressure, good consumables installed correctly, my torch is clamped to the mount correctly ive looked at every possible problem, if i jump the 1and 2 pin on the cnc port the air clicks on but no fire anything helps???

Welcome to the forum.

Do you have a hand torch? Has the torch ever fired? Is it a Everlast machine torch? Are the consumables the right ones? Air must stay in the green about 70psi with air flowing from the torch. Swirl ring installed?

I do not have a hand torch, the machine torch is an everlast torch that came new with the plasma cutter. The torch has never fired, my consumables are correct and swirl ring is installed, air psi is good when flowing through the torch

I did not ask if air was good, it needs to be at least 70 psi or the torch will not fire.

Air is at least 70 psi

You could also change the electrode and try it again or when you are with the plasma cutter you can call me and we will check it out.

i tried calling you earlier, im still not having any luck after checking continuity in my torch and a short conversation with everlast tech support. im getting a bit discouraged and would love to get this thing working correctly

problem solved… thank you George. turns out it was a few issues 1. air pressure -fix. not enough 2. bad consumables we swapped out the consumables and bumped up the air pressure and BOOM fire baby!!! cant say thank you enough for the help and after hours time to get me cutting.
