Take a paper clip and jump out the torch on/off cable that plugs into the control box.
the control box of the crossfire? and jump it to what? sorry…im uncertain what you are asking…sorry
Take the plug out from the control box that says torch on/off . That plug that goes to the plasma cutter and jump it out by sticking a paper clip in the end. It is a simple on off switch. If the torch doesn’t fire it is the torch.
One more question. Is this a Plasmadyne torch that is supposed to be hypertherm torch made to run on an Everlast? Please send us pictures of the torch.
ok…im not sure i did it right but it does not fire, this torch came with my cutter from everlast, they both did
Make sure that the consumables are installed correctly. The plastic swirl ring inside is installed with the notch down into the tip. Could you send us pictures of the consumables and your torch mounted on the machine.
ok…so now voltage is going up to 300…i increased pierce delay…still nothing
Send us pictures of the parts and torch mounted on the machine. We are going to run out of threads soon. Pictures of the consumables
this is the first time i had to change the consumables …tell me more about the notch you spoke of
Loosen the bottom mounting clamp. It is squeezing the torch mechanism. And you are totally positive that the electrode is free inside the torch. Just like the video I sent you. Take the consumables out of the hand torch and install them in the machine torch.
is it possible to screw the outer ceramic piece on too tight
i just did multiple things…and now it is working
Just hand tight. Change the consumables from the hand torch, including the swirl ring.
We are going to run out of replies soon. Those old consumables are the worst I have ever seen. I believe that the pilot arc mechanism is trashed or stuck. Or you have something assembled incorrectly.
when i was screwing the outer piece on…i noticed it stopped being able to depress…so i ledt it looser…i also turned the ??? over…
swirl ring
i will reach out to everlast
thank you for your patience with me…i truly appreciate it!
i hope you have a wonderful rest of your evening…
