Searched the forums and found similar topics but had questions. I have had and used my CF pro for about 2 years. The torch nor air with fire with doing a THS test or attempting a cut. I have checked the wires like others have suggested and don’t see a loose connection. I hit the manual fire on the front of the plasma and the air purge works fine. I wanted to make sure I was clear about shorting 2 wires together to make the torch fire. We are talking about the coax cable. This cable going directly into the Plasma cutter?
That cable that goes to the “torch on/off” port on the electronics enclosure is the cable to short in order to fire the torch. It is the same thing that the relay inside the electronics enclosure does to fire the torch. The relay closes and connects both wires to complete the circuit.
You can short from the inside to the outside of the barrel connector to test both the cable and the plasma cutter.
If it doesn’t fire, unplug it from the plasma cutter and short across the pins in the port on the plasma cutter.

OK, this is what I thought…I shorted it on the barrel side, now to go to the plasma cutter side. I will report back
