I’ve been using Mac since mid '90’s but it seems it would make sense to but another Windows based laptop to use for my new Crossfire XR. I haven’t touched a Windows based computer since the late '90’s so am way out of touch. Brand, memory size, etc. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I want to start with sheet cam and downloading existing DXF files, but will eventually work my way into Fusion 360. Thanks. Terry
I bought a new laptop for my XR instead of using the mini PC that comes with it. check out the link.
and this link has a link to a newegg search which searches the gaming laptops by price
Thank you. Will check it out.
Since I’ve never been a “gamer” (other than sitting down with the neighborhood kids for a game of Monopoly in the '50’s) I was wondering what that gaming specific computer you bought offers to your design work on the Crossfire that a Costco laptop? Sorry to sound ignorant, but again, I’m from a different era (sometimes it feels like a different planet). Thanks for helping this old guy along on this new journey.
