New Product: Pro MAX 4x4 Table and Upgrade Kit Intro

Hey everyone! It’s finally here…

Starting at $3,395, nice and square, 4 x 4 plasma table from Langmuir along with some beefed up leadscrew upgrades to make your life easier. Not to mention a deeper water table so now an 85A cutter can be used without issue. That brings 1” thick material within your grasp without having to go bigger with the Crossfire XR. Check out our introduction video to see the new design and read up on the new features.

When talking with people, I hear all the time that they like the XR but just don’t have the shop space for it. I always tell them to sell something and make room but now the Pro MAX is an actual solution! This is honestly our most balanced product for cutting size, shop space, and affordability.

So not only can you cut thicker brackets, signs, templates, jigs, wear plates, etc, but you can do that all with less material waste and with an easier setup.

“But Jake!” I hear you cry. “I already have a Pro and I don’t want to buy a whole new table!” Well I have good news for you sir or madam, we also have a Pro → Pro MAX upgrade kit as well. That way you can add 43% more cut space to your Pro and get all the benefits of the MAX. We’ll be sharing more details about the kit later here on the forum and the LS website.

Feel free to ask us any questions in this topic or make your own if you have something specific in mind. I know everyone here is excited to get the Pro MAX out the door and we’re looking forward to all of the new possibilities this will open up.

I’ve been considering expanding my Pro table to 4x4. It will save a bunch of time to buy a kit with all the parts, instead of sourcing them individually and having a new water pan made.

I’m excited to hear more about the upgrade kit! I am definitely interested in expanding my pro table! … and since you sent out the tease on Tuesday 4/28 (my birthday) seems only fair you would send me one to test out? :winking_face_with_tongue: :joy:

CrossFire® PRO

Starting at - $3,195

only $200 different than the pro that seems like a heck of a bargain.

I can imagine the upgrade kit is going to be quite a bit more than the $200 difference. I am interested in getting an upgrade for my pro that’s been mothballed since I got the XR.

I always imagined you guys making a smaller version of the XR not a bigger version of the PRO. Maybe we’ll see a 4 by 5 foot version of the XR in the future so you can index 5 by 10 sheets!

With that $200 pricing difference I’d imagine you’ll be selling a lot of these instead of the PRO

in the near future.

Nice work keep it up

Yeah, but wouldn’t it be AMAZING if the kits were $200?

(except for a Linux port of Fire Control)

Some people get gifts, others get coal

No but I hear you, I’m an Ubuntu user (also ran Fedora) but the OS wouldn’t bother me if said computer was dedicated to Firecontrol.

I might replace mine then…

I would buy this if I could just do a whole new frame along with it so I can redo my setup. I’m going to have to look into what the kit is and what I’d have to add.

I’m a lifelong MS guy and use Linux “a bit”. But with the latest lunacy from the boys in Redmond, I have moved everything to Linux Mint except for my Firecontrol machine.

$999 according to their YouTube comment reply

THIS !!! OMG this…. Firecontrol is the only reason i have ANY windows computer at all.

I think this will take lots of dreaming but I hear it is healthy to have dreams :stuck_out_tongue:

I run FireControl on an old 27” iMac Pro 5K. Straight OS.

Hello, I looked at many 4x4 tables from other sellers because I wanted a 4x4. Finally I settled on the 4x3 from Langmuir because of this forum and the affordability. I even reached out to @TinWhisperer to buy his old 4x3 but he ghosted me:cry:. So I literally bought a brand new 4x3 3 days ago and haven’t even received it yet…and then I hear this! I’m up in Canada so can’t just ship it back…so disheartening that my timing was so bad. Anyways that’s my sob story and hope the upgrade kit isn’t to expensive and it’s as good as buying the 4x4, sometimes upgrade kits aren’t as good as the actual.

Hello Richard,

Can you share some details on how you got firecontrol to run on “Straight OS”

It started air conditioning season here and I got too busy to deal with selling it.

God, I am in the same boat. I got mine a little earlier than you and I am still assembling the table and now I found out about the 4x4 table. I would have gotten the 4x4 if I had known.
