The approach to dry air is also dependent on how you use the Crossfire. If you’re a production shop, you probably should spend the $500 or $1000 for large capacity air drying.
If you’re doing art projects in the garage, then maybe the cost isn’t worth it or it’s not a big deal to change dessicant every week or two.
I wouldn’t want a guy just starting to get into this to think he’s got to go spend another several hundred dollars just to cut projects for casual use. It’s a big range of use types going on here.
