I just purchased a cross fire standard. I’m not really good with downloads and finding the files. The YouTube videos are not helping much. I’m just really not sure what to do with them once downloaded I have watched the videos over and over again and just can’t seem to get it figure out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had trouble in the beginning as well. I’m not very mechanically inclined at all. I’m not sure if you’re talking about files/videos to put the table together or files that you would download to make stuff.
If you’re talking about the table all I can say is take your time and watch the videos several times and pause it. Expect the build not to be fast. Otherwise you’ll end up taking it apart.
If you’re talking about the file downloads for the software. Be specific and someone here can address your specific need.

I’m talking the files I can’t get the motion control plug in to even download then I’m not sure where to put the Mach 3 once I have the file I’ve watched the videos and it’s just confusing

I figured it out I’m so mad at myself I spent 2 nights trying to figure it out all because I couldn’t find the Mach3 folder once I found it it was the simplest thing to do thanks guys

Don’t be mad at yourself. You should see some of my posts from when I first started. Glad you got it sorted out. It’s awesome when you can do it on your own, even though the struggle is more.
Oh I’m positive there will be more to come I haven’t even received my table yet so I’m sure I’ll have more questions when the time comes but I appreciate you’re guys help
Hey how do you add your location to that list? I actually live 3 miles from Langmuir systems and would like to pop my location on the map as well. I have to tell you though, after looking at the map there’s only 3 listed owners in the same region as Langmuir to my surprise, most seem to just east of center US. I’m sure not everyone is “registered”. I didn’t mean to hyjack the thread KBwelder, glad you got it figured out, I had the same issues as you’re having as I’m new to this and don’t use computers other than my phone. I had to call a buddy and he showed me how to invite him into my computer so he could maneuver and get everything downloaded and oriented appropriately, I had to do that 8 times and after 2 days of playing with it I actually got the machine to run a toolpath. I was blown away that it actually worked after I had messed with it and figured out problems on my own. That was a few weeks ago and have t messed with it because of limited time. It’s still very foreign to me where I have everything in there and I’m sure I have multiples of the same thing. Good luck with it!
