I should not have read this while sipping my evening drink…now I have good whiskey all over my screen…that was funny
You should know that I have said categorically that spilt Whiskey is a Capital offense! Perhaps the Judge will take some leniency that, in this case, it’s ‘spitted’, not ‘spilt’, but I take a very dim view of such interpretations. I suppose it depends on what the Whiskey was.
GunTruck1776 - The drag chain ends need to be the same height or they will bind at the low end.
The most important one is at the left rear because of the height of the x-axis carriage.
Haven’t seen anyone go this route yet but for wheels I got these little castor dollies from harbor freight and they work awesome!!! Highly recommend them and only 5 bucks a piece.image|320x240
RankFab - Good idea. I’ll keep those in mind.
I like the table stability on the normal feet. They will be good to have around when I want to move the table. RankFab thanks for the idea.
Jim, would you consider creating and selling a set of the brackets you use to mount the drag chains? The only difference might be that my drag chains are 1-1/8th inch wide.
Was thinking of adding a lower shelf to my table! Awesome seeing one done! Nice build!
Agent86 - I’ll print you a set that will fit your drag chains.
Send me an email with your address to jim@felich.com.
I ended up with 15x20 open inside, closed outside drag chain. Here’s the link if interesting to someone.

How many gals does 3 bottles make?
15.8 gallons, approx. It is mixed 20 to 1.
Bob,
Each bottle makes 5.2 gallons.
1 bottle is 34oz so 3 bottles = 102oz.
The mix ratio is 20:1
So 3 bottles make 15.9 gallons of fluid.
GreenCut says the table fluid needs to circulate
Thanks for the math👍
Got any Ideas how to circulate it?
Here is one of the suggestions…I’m designing a variation which I will post when I complete it.
Bob,
My plan is to install modified Sink Drains in the Table.
To circulate I will use my “Coaxial Drain” to take fluid in through the overflow tube connected to a sump.
The “Fill/Drain Pipe” valve will be switched to the pump outlet and push fluid through the drain which will also push crap away from the mouth of the drain.
To drain the table the “Fill/Drain Pipe” valve will be switched to drain the table fluid into the sump.
I’ll have a sock filter at the inlet of the sump to clean the table fluid as recommended by GreenCut.
A big advantage of this scheme is that the table fluid height is controlled by the height of the inlet tube so there is no chance off overfilling the table. Plus I can have any amount of extra fluid in the sump.
I would like to have a set of the drag chain mounts that you make. I just ordered the same chain you have. Let me know if you would be willing to make them and the cost. Thanks
Do you have a specified list that I could just search and buy them?? That’s such a sweet looking table and I want to get mine looking like this.
Hope to hear from you soon!
