My $9500 hat from Langmuir

I got to wear my $9500 Langmuir hat today. It’s drizzling outside this morning. :joy:

Good thing you had the hat then!

You see, I put that hair gel in my hair to make it stiff, like me. If it gets wet, I end up looking like one of these Gen Z guys with the whole bedhead thing. Being a Boomer, that style is against the Boomer rules and regulations. I hear that @brownfox has one of those man-buns. That’s what I hear.
Do you know what else grinds my gears? The wool beanie cap when it’s 100 degrees out. I just want to grab them and shake them. :grimacing:

How about people that drive their cars with their hoodies up. Unbelievable.

I also dabble in custom apparel. Looks like a Richardson 112. Decent hat, pretty much the go to for freebies. I refuse to sell anyone the budget hats that most places do. The difference in whole sale prices for a NICE SnapBack vs the budget ones is not that much and it’s a big quality difference. Just like we all zoom in and evaluate metal work, I zoom in and scrutinize the apparel.

Don’t be jealous of my luscious locks. I’m just getting a head start on my retirement hair.

Lucky. All they sent me for $11k was some machine and chunks of metal in various shapes.

Reminds me of my $1335.00 FFL transfer fee.

Went to pick up my new competition rifle, and the shop owner asks “You shoot 6.5 Grendel right? Take a look at that one. On consignment. Guy wants it sold sooner than later. Been sitting here for two months.”

I start mentally adding up the Lilja bull barrel, adj BCG, Billet upper and lower, Gieselle FCG, Barrel shroud, Adjustable PRS stock, and others…I hit $2200 easy and the owner told me he would take $1300 (tagged at $1800).

SOLD!

.750 MOA rifle @ 200y.

Next time it rains :grinning:. I can assure you that I don’t drive with a hoodie on my head. I can’t believe that some people get to work. Coming from New Jersey, that’s a statement. Oh, and if it snows in Tennessee, stay home. It’s like the final lap of Talladega.

They just can’t handle it. Let it grow out to a Shawn Connery pony tail, that’s what I have. Yea I still have a little hippy in me.

I also have a $6000 Husqvarna hat.

What is wrong with driving with a hoodie? I am not getting it again

“Sometimes, it feels like you have a hood over your head and can only see forward.”

Well one, from a practical standpoint it hinders your peripheral vision. Two, what’s the purpose? You’re in an enclosed vessel and already protected from the elements.

I only made a joke about it because @Bigdaddy2166 joked about people wearing beanies in 100 degree weather. Seems equally weird.

Was this @Knick at the steel yard getting some cold rolled?

Im just messing around and acting with the belief this is all in good fun and we are all friends here…

I wish I was that young!

Well in the winter time I sit in the house with my hood up as I am always cold. And if I am in the house with it up, you know I have it up while driving.

Go see if snuggie has a forum you hoodlum!

I literally cannot function with a hoodie up unless it’s raining or snowing. My brain can’t handle it.
