MR-1 master tool list wanted for assembly and maint

I have been watching the plethora of videos and previewing the rest of the instructions in anticipation of my machines arrival. . .

It has become apparent that I may or may not have all the tools on hand at this time- particularly when lubrication was mentioned in my case with the different Zirk fitting sizes required.

Is there a master list somewhere in the instructions or do I need to start over at the beginning and make a list? i will get on it and post here if no one else has done so but no need to reinvent the wheel, right?

I think it is a pretty simple list of tools. You’ll need a metric and imperial allen key set, 7/16 & 3/8 combination wrenches are handy, I used some knipex smooth jaw pliers, needlenose pliers and a crescent wrench as well. Having the right nutdriver for the hose clamps would be good also, I used a flathead and that is always asking for a stab in the finger.

Zerk fittings are metric. I had to buy 10 of each from china. I will be glad to send you a couple of each if you like.

thanks guys,

I also remember right off the top of my head: dial gauge/indicator set (a good one not harbor freight), 1-2-3 blocks or better yet the 2-4-6 blocks

i determined this machine will have its own set of tooling for use because it is a pain to pull from one of the other machines in another room of the shop (like my bridgeport) and sort out where something has run off to. So a dedicated small grease gun with 4 and 6 mm connectors (if i recall correctly).

Well I took a bit inside the warm house today rather than in the shop to compile the list of tools as indicated on the assembly instructions. NOTE: this does not include the stuff in the videos. . .apparently, those tools do not get listed in the assembly instructions. It took 2 whole weekends to watch the videos the first time thru so outside of the 1.2.3 or 2.4.6 blocks i do not remember the specifics. Here is what I come up with:
2.5mm Hex Key
3mm Hex Key
4mm Hex Key
5mm Hex Key
1/8" Hex Key
7/64" Hex Key
5/32" Hex Key
3/16” Hex Key
1/4" Hex Key

3/8" Wrench
7/16” Wrench
9/16” Wrench
5/8” Wrench
(2) 15/16" or Adjustable Wrenches

1/4" Socket

Bubble Level
Shim Stock (Not Provided)
Duct Tape
Flathead Screw Driver
Small Flathead Screwdriver
#1 Phillips Screwdriver
Tape Measure
Calipers or Scale
Disposable mixing cup with volume graduations that can hold approximately 1 quart
Paint stirring sticks
Latex gloves
Heat gun or propane torch
2” Paint Brush
Coplanarity Check Gage
Dial Indicator
Small Hammer/Mallet & Punch
Padded Pliers

Cool deal- that is good news indeed. My machine is slated for delivery at 8am Friday so I do not know firsthand I just pulled what it said from the instructions online.

Maybe add precision ground flat stones. For taking off burrs between mating surfaces
