The coolant is a 4 nozzle manifold that doubles as a spindle wrench. So you only need 1 hand and 1 wrench to change tools.

Holy shit. First off love the coolant set up, where did ya get it? Machine looks really clean so thats awesome. I dont think youll have an issue selling it not at that price.

Its my own design. I’ve got CAD of everything. I got tired (and still hate but its not so bad anymore) using two wrenches to change tools. I also not a fan of the LokLine nozzle. I tried a ring version but it sucked just as much. I needed something that had enough pressure and volume to evacuate swarf. It also completely eliminated any need to re-aim coolant since each nozzle can be pointed for a different length tool. There’s also plenty of room to add more nozzles if so desired but 4 covers all angles so theres always coolant where its needed.
The internal channels are not something that can be made on the MR-1 For anyone wanting to make one at home due to the amount of Z required to drill them. I drilled this one on my lathe.
Installation does require trimming the bottom of the spindle shroud by about 1/2" but everything else bolts to existing features/holes in the spindle.
If yall want to purchase the setup, let me get my new mill running and I can make some for yall.

Seems like theres a few people that really like the coolant setup.

For anybody thats been asking, I got pricing on all the materials to manufacture a batch of the nozzle/spindle wrench manifolds, the material kinda hurts. If I’m going to make some I’d have to sell them for $300.
This would include the… I’ll call it the Spindle Lock, which makes for single wrench tool changes.

The nozzles showed up Thursday actually. I’m still waiting on plugs but production on the first batch of 6 is starting today.
Once theyre ready to go ill reach out to those of you that have requested one and setup payment and shipping.
