Looking at this mini pc to run my machine but can’t see anywhere it says 32 or 64 bit so asking if anyone can tell if it’s 64 bit and or what mini pc you’ve used with success.
Almost everything these days will be 64-bit architecture.
If you’re unsure though you can search the CPU, most have a spec sheet like this one.
Looks good.
Thanks I didn’t think of that😁
Got it on Amazon. 64 bit 32 ram 1 tb hd i5 core.
Use it on fire control via network to fusion computer. Hell it’s faster and more powerful than my desktop.
How about some details on your computer cart. What’s the red button and the 2 switches hooked up to? Also the gray box mounted to control box.
One is for the Plasma cutter. The second one is for the Langmuir control box.
And the emergency button kills both. They are wired into two contactors that are controlled by switching.
The gray box is a terminal box with all the CNC wiring from the plasma cutter. Even though the Everlast 50:1 doesn’t work correctly it’s wired in there in case they fix it someday. The torch control and the ok to move wires are all in there.
I used 10 wire double shielded wire from plasma to gray box. This way all I needed was a short no looped piece to connect to Langmuir control box.
Well thought out system. I like it. I see the yellow curtain there also. That’s been in my plans also. just haven’t done it yet.
For your contactor relays, did you use an a/c type contactor with 120v rated coils?
240 v coils… But 120 v would be great too. Square D 8910DPA52V09 208/240VAC Non-Reversing Definite Purpose Contactor 2P 50A | Zoro.com
Do you have a link to said mini pc here? I’m wanting to do the same thing, mini pc networked to my office computer with fusion.
4 Cores 8th gen Intel i5-8279U(Up to 4.1GHz), Beelink SEI8 Mini PC Windows 10 Pro, 16G RAM 512G NVMe M.2 SSD, Support 4K Dual HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi-5, BT5.0, 4USB3.0 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0957L8ZVK/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_4G8KDMEWZGZ6T2EE5W7A
I added 16 gb of ram to the 16 it had but you don’t need it. It works perfectly. If you run fusion on it you will get the graphics alert. Still works though.
I do all my designing on tower computer and just send file to network folder.
Won’t have any problems running fire control or any graphics problems. Fusion just doesn’t like it.
I do all my design on my office computer so i’m just using mine to run my machine and sheet cam. This one works great for me.
I bought this one and mounted on the back of touchscreen also… Works perfectly!!
