I need to sell my CFP setup. On my ad here and on FB, Craigslist I have had exactly zero interest. Is the market for these machines completely in the toilet?
I can imagine the market for CNC plasma motion control machines is very oversaturated and the market for trinket and tchotchkes products (yard/ house art) of the plasma market has evaporated in the tougher economy.
And we are also at the cusp for the next generation of these machines. Ones that use the new laser welder cutters.

Price is also a factor. Be lucky to get 40% of retail. 25% is realistic for a used machine.

The table, the stand, the RZRweld…all of it inc monitor and a mac mini to run it
TinWhisperer may be right. My suggestion is to be patient if you can. Been through all this market downturn back in '91 - '94 with the huge Boeing slump, again in 2001 through 2004 after 9/11 and when the high tech bubble burst, again around 2008 with market slump. It’s all about your market’s perception, and it all passes if you can wait it out. Your equipment will never get any cheaper when you want to replace it. Good luck.
