Hey All,
Still very new at this and starting to understand the not so intuitive software. I have had success up till today. When I started Fire Control the machine tab used to zero your work area beside the work tab is gone. Restarted everything, did updates, uninstalled fire control and reloaded but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
can you post a pic as I am not sure where the work tab is?
hope this works. Its in the top right where your zero axes is. It should be to the left of the work tab.
just fyi the machine tab is the one missing
I guess I have never used this if I have it. So it’s different than zero all axis’s?
I believe this only activates when you have limit switches enabled. Otherwise, the machine has no idea where it is. Without homing, the machine has no reference point to measure from.

So for me that would be the home button maybe?
No, there is a work tab and a machine tab. The tabs change what coordinates display. So while machine is selected it’s the overall X,Y location.
When work is selected, it’s the XY relative to your work zero location.

I guess I’m not familiar with those buttons.
I have never switched between those two. I will have to see what that does
Finally back at this. So yes that worked. I ran an update and it must have toggled that off. Funny thing is now my machine tab is on the right. I previously used the machine tab to zero axes and set my work area. Now I use the work tab to zero axes for the work area. It’s confusing to me but I am very new at this. I really appreciate your help.
