I think im going to hold out for the bigger bed.The price point with the ams lite is very temping though.

The wife got me a X1C about 3 weeks ago after me complaining how much a pain in the butt it is to get decent prints from my Ender 3 V2. Unfortunately we had a vacation scheduled and itâs been sitting in the closet in the box since it came. Canât wait to get home this weekend and play with it.

Ouch!!! That phrase brought up a very painful conversation we ⌠no scratch that. A conversation my wife had with me. I was told that if I did not want to continue to be married to her and do things with her we might as well just quit right now. Keep in mind we have been married for 46 years.
I pointed out that we took the grandkids to a multi-day stay at an amusement park, 10 days in Oklahoma to see her family and a cruise to AlaskaâŚjust this year! Guys, she is spending all of my tool allowance!!! 
But, after I agreed she could plan a road trip for next year, she warmed up to the idea of me getting a 3D printer. That is after I clean up and organize a space for it. So not a totally bad conversation.

Iâm hookedâŚearly Xmas morning waking up to new 3D printed parts for the crossfire pro which @Heath designed almost 2 years ago and posted on here. These clean up the plasma cutter cable.

My machine has been running nonstop since yesterday. I did order some from Bambu when I purchased machine but I also ordered some of this Overture and seems to run great on my AMS. I only got 1 roll of PLA myself because I plan on pretty much using only PETG on my stuff.

This sounds like maybe you tried one of those better to beg for forgiveness scenarios⌠So which one did you order⌠and when did it get there? Did she find it on the porch or had you gotten it in the house? When can we expect to see some prints?

I really have not ordered anything yet but the one Tin got is the one that I would order: X-1C
When I order it, I will use the line âIt was on sale (as in âit was for saleâ) so I would be paying myself to buy it. I would be losing money to let that âsaleâ pass me by!â 
Seriously, I donât expect to order until perhaps spring of next year.

You can, just 20% max and only after layer 3 ish. PETG has always given me fits. Itâs so âmushyâ when it prints.
I built my own printer a few months back (before bambu announced or came out with the X1, otherwise I would have gotten it). Mine is 350mmx350mmx500mm build volume on a 1/4" cast al plate heated with 110v AC mains, but a bed slinger. A bit of ringing to sort out, but otherwise, itâs way better than the sovol SV01 I started on. Iâve been 3d printing since college though (2010).

I had the A1 in my cart⌠with the addons (filament etc.) it was about $800⌠was thinking of making it a family present⌠BUT doubt my wife would get into it and my kids are 4,3 and 17 months so I wouldnât be fooling anyone with the âfamily presentâ angle. Got all the way through the shipping and chickened out⌠I guess the extra $25 for shipping did me in.
