I've skimmed LS-THC, but who knows with my frustration

I’ve been cutting several things out today, and all went well till a height difference with a piece of metal being warped. I’ve had sitting on my shelf the LS-THC, so decided time to install. Now all its wanting to do is gouge the metal. I’ve tried changed consumables, rerun the test for the THC voltage….dumb struck. Note, Primeweld Cut60, not using voltage divider, raw voltage.

Before anyone asks for all the specifics (missing information), let me just warn you that you have your torch mounted incorrectly.

It needs to be clamped on the body, not the torch head.

Ok, so wrong why to mount?

Work clamp on the part?

Did it cut OK before adding THC?

What settings are you using for your pierce and cut height? Did you verify them?

Have you cut this material w/o THC?

Ok, I’m feeling stupid…figured out what the issue….I accidentally changed the amps when moving it around to install the thc, I should have checked it, first….but was so frustrated, I forgot to check it

You’re clamped on the torch head.

The upper body is reinforced and doesn’t have all the small parts that make up the machine torch.

Clamping the torch head can damage those internal components, and I’ve seen it first hand where someone permanently damaged their torch.

But you do you.

I have no problem changing it, and didn’t know it wasn’t properly clamped properly. I just wanted to verify it wasn’t clamped properly with the second picture.
