It's been awhile. Post those projects!

The new Ender3 v3 KE gets pretty good reviews and it runs on Klipper. It’s a great option for someone on a budget. https://store.creality.com/products/ender-3-v3-ke-3d-printer?spm=..article_98a26386-eb6b-4845-9bb4-0071d3c9abc8.header_1.1

If you can spend a bit more, the Bambu A1 is a great printer.

My old Ender 3 Pro has been extremely reliable and is used almost daily. I am toying with the idea of upgrading to Klipper firmware. I really don’t have room for a second machine.

New shop, new setup. Super happy with how easy it was to move the table.

Well… The Ender3 V3 KE 3D has shipped! I have “made” some space on a “credenza” type thing in the lab, that’s where it will live. Tomorrow i’m adding some “Machine Vision” to my new Comgrow Z1 10W Laser Table. Wife is off to Florida on Thursday for a few weeks … I’m just having too much fun! :tumbler_glass: :beers:

If you don’t already use it, may I suggest using Orca Slicer. It is far better than CURA or whatever Creality borrowed for their slicer, in my experience. All of the settings are in different places than CURA, but its worth the effort to find them.

A pair of pretty cool (I think) laser cut brackets for overhead lighting on my Comgrow Z1 laser. Cut from 1/8 black acrylic. Drawn in AutoCAD 2007 and exported as a dxf file to Lightburn and cut on the Comgrow. Total time 10-minutes 100% pwr, 150mm/min for the cut layer. 100% pwr, 5000mm/min for the engraving layer. Both layers 1 pass.

Your bench is too clean and uncluttered.

It was a real struggle to get it that way, It won’t be like that for long …I assure you   :beers:

To solve the clutter issue, I have made all my work surfaces convex. They stay clean but I can’t get a single thing accomplished on them…

Amazing how long it takes to sort out and how quickly it goes into mayhem overdrive!
