Inside door plexiglass

Added plexiglass to the inside of the doors to keep the chips and coolant inside the enclosure. I used magnetic strip tape and ⅛"plexiglass cut to size.

Great Idea, Where did you purchase the plexiglass and did they cut it ?

That’s a great idea. I definitely have a chip collection building up in my doors.

I found it at Menards. No I cut it myself. Just need tape and a jigsaw with a fine blade. Tape the surface before sawing to protect the surface.

Went to Home Depot this morning and got the magnetic tape. Already had some plexiglass on hand. Did this upgrade just a bit ago and it is awesome! Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Gary

Awesome! I ran it before and after the mod and it’s a world of difference.

I got some at lowes today. Will install soon before we surface the plate.

Excellent idea. I had planned on doing this on the side windows as I have one side up against a shelf near the rear and can’t get the the nuts to remove it very easily. I hadn’t thought about doing it for the front - nice mod!

Nice. One of my side windows is against the wall. I welded nuts on the outside and 3d printed washers to fit in the square holes of the plexiglass. Worked out great.
