Hi All,
I address this in another thread but feel compelled to post this in a standalone thread. The current CrossFire V1.1 Mach3 configuration has the torch pause motion for 1 second after completing a cut before moving onto the the next cut. If you are finding that one second is not enough time to identify a tipup and command a feed hold, you can increase the delay by doing the following:
- In Mach3, click on Configuration–>Ports and Pins–>Spindle Setup
- Change the CW Spind Down Delay from 1 to 3
That will provide 3 seconds of delay. If you find that you need more, you can increase to any value that you wish.
As a reminder, it is best to use the ‘keep nozzle down’ function in Fusion 360 so that the torch will rapid around possible tip-ups.
