I'm building a powder coat oven

yeah those jars don’t have a flat bottom either but decided to use them since i have a few. the hot glue worked great though. hopefully i can remove the fittings after adding the hot glue if i need to. I might try a thin neoprene washer on one of the other ones to see if holds.

I would suggest adding more material for the “barbs” to the lid fitting to hold the 1/2 hose better. I was using latex tubing which is pretty flimsy/flexible.

Thank you for the feedback, I will have to get a few more samples of Latex hose to test the fit, the sample I had was super tight (I was only going over the first barb) but it must be on the smaller side.

Just for reference, the royal coats hose adapter is .6in or about 15mm’s wide at the barb.

Yours is around .51in or about 13mm wide.

For 1/2 I.D. latex hose, you do need the extra 2-3 mm’s to grab onto without using a clamp.

PM sent btw.

Thank you for the measurements! I got your DM last night and sent out replacements this morning, let me know when they arrive.

That’s good info there! 3 weeks on and no problems but I’m only running 2 because I have ordered better jars yet…

No, bolt is slang word for split cedar log rounds.
