IHS and Cutting inconsistency

I took a picture before I put it back together.

The originals got some pretty good wear and tear, but aside from that, I see two major differences:

  1. On the nozzle - overall length is the same, but the original has two different tapers (steep first, then shallow). The replacement has a single taper from the tip until it gets to the full width

  2. The shield has a different geometry as well. I would imagine that the replacement is superior, as the holes are tucked behind the tip, protecting them from splatter (I would guess)
