Hypertherm Sync What is it part?

I have a new hypertherm 45 sync and would like to know what this is on back of it ? And any maintenance I should do to it ? Seems like a filter ?

That is the particulate filer housing and inside of it their is a filter to remove dirt, rust, sand etc. NOT water. It may state in the manual to replace it every 30 days. But it most likely will not give you a part number for it.

They stock all those at bakers gas. That’s where I buy my replacements.

The manual does discuss this in their maintenance portion

And then from the manual it tells you to refer to the Hypertherm SYNC parts guide For the part numbers.

And if you want to get deeper into it hypertherm also has a service manual for this plasma cutter which is about 300 pages long.

That is one big difference between A and B grade equipment is documentation.

Not much of an invite TIN!!!

I stopped by last summer to visit “The Library.” For those of you considering it, I am sharing the pictures of signs that are on the path. I never made it to the actual entrance of the “Library.” I will choose to remain ignorant than have all the knowledge in that building. It took three scoops of ice cream to calm down after that side trip.
