How to keep water off of the electronics

Any tips on preventing this other than not cutting on the left side of the table?

Looks like excessive liquid volume in your water table.

I run 13.5 gallons in my table, this doesn’t happen. When possible, I also line up the edge of my material along the edge of the left most slat so the liquid is blocked from shooting over the table edge by the slat.

Theres only (2) 5 gallon buckets in there. Barely covering the slat holders. And im only running 60psi on the torch

I just lay a folded up bath towel on my control box

I have a piece of coroplast (that corrugated plastic sign stuff) that I’ve bent and trimmed to make a Z that I can install over the top edge of the control box. Had the same issue with the original and when I upgraded it to the XL. I don’t expect it’s a big issue unshielded because it should be hard to get water in under the machine screws in the casing but I figured I’d go with a bit of insurance. I don’t think anyone has reported a control box getting fried from water splash but the preventative is pretty cheap & easy.

Most of the equipments are manufactured in such a way so that water does not harm the internals and the casing is done with water-proof materials. Devices manufactured and repaired by industrial electronics repair professionals shield the instruments properly.

Move it away from the table were it should be anyway.

Yeah, there’s no advantage to it being tied to the table in any way is there?

I hung my cabinet on the wall. sometimes it stil gets a little splash but water won’t get in. Also whatever space on the table that isn’t occupied by the sheet being cut I put thin stuff on there so it’s surrounded and keeps the water in
