Homing the machine with the limit switches

I homed the machine, the moved it up wot ht far stops (just short of 47.85 and -32.97), once I put these numbers in for the soft limit, the machine values zero out and It says I cannot move due to the limit. What am I doing wrong?

This is how you fix this. Go to the to right and click on machine. Turn off limit switches. Problem solved. Start cutting metal projects.

The big upside to limit switches is when for whatever fun reason when the system goes skitzo. You can re-home then return to work zero and recover you cut project.

I end up doing this a lot even with all the fancy gadgets that are supposed to eliminate EMI and ghost grounding issues.

Go back to step 1 of the limit switch setup, and start again. Read very carefully each sentence, perform only that step before moving on. It’s easy to botch it up.

I installed limit switches on my little crossfire table, it was kind of a waste of money really. I do use them but only when I am done using the table for a while. I haven’t played with the soft stops yet.
