Was cutting just fine and then it stopped with error saying it hit a hard limit? Just put the limit switch kit on yesterday with soft limits disabled. Home’d machine from several places on the table with no issues. As you can see I’m in the middle of the table…
Could the cutting tip have hit a Tip up and stopped ?
Nope it was lowering to start another cut and just stopped after it pierced.

When did you do the firmware update? They recently updated the firmware again to address the problem of triggering a hard limit error when piercing. It’s still version 1.3, but it’s been updated.

It was a week or so ago. Too bad I can’t tell without hooking up to the table…
Since you say it was attempting an IHS touch off I would suspect its an issues in the Z axis.
The update to fix the piercing issue was released 20 days ago.
Ive got the latest version.
