Greasing screws

In the maintenance video they say to grease the x and y axis screws seams they would get cluttered with chips has anyone greased the screws does it cause issues ?

I use WD 40.

My thoughts were a light on instead of sticky grease . Thanks

They do specify a light lithium grease. A VERY light film is all thats applied. Brush some on, run them back and forth and wipe off the extra.

In as much as the servo bearings are Delrin or some plastic, Iā€™d think that WD would work or a light firearm oil in a spray can like Rem Oil would work as well. Maybe even silicone spray lube which goes in wet but dries out and still provides lubrication and that brings me to the metal bearings in the traverse heads. Do you lube them and with what?
