FUSION 360 post processor - trouble uploading (SOLVED)

Post processor fire control for FUSION 360.
Doesn’t down load as a file folder but down loads as a .cps file for Explorer.
It only open a read me text file in explorer.???

That’s correct. It’s not a folder, it’s the Post Processor file format that Fusion uses to create the G-Code. It goes in the Posts directory of your Fusion install.

I copied and pasted it in there. And tried that and I’m still unable to post.
Guess I’ll have to figure something out.

Start here, watch the whole series.

All I’m trying to do is install the post processor, fire control into the FUSION 360 posts folder, so I can post the G-code.
I copied and pasted the .cps V1.5 I think it was into the folder in FUSION but it still doesn’t show up in the FUSION SETUP menu.
I’ll recheck everything tomorrow, maybe I put it in folder?

FIXED!
made 3 perfect test cuts today from an old opener I designed and cut on the 2x2 crossfire

So far it’s all working perfectly!:+1::+1::+1:image

Hey that’s good to hear…

What were you doing wrong?

:man_shrugging:

Just deleted MACH3 Post Processor
Closed everything reopened,
Opened the file location, pasted the FIRE CONTROL V 1.5 in it.
Closed the FUSION post Dialog .
Reopened and it was installed…

Did some jumping jacks and a cartwheel too!:joy:

Just followed what has worked in the past when dealing with computers …

Does anyone know if there is a metric version of the Fire Control CPS file?
I’m working in mm but the CPS file is all inches.
Thanks
