Hi newbie here, is there any way to adjust the torch speed on the fly during a cut? I’m getting way too much dross on my cuts. I punched in the setting based on what the book recommended but it just crawls way too slow.
do I have to go back into sheet cam and reload new G code?
No you can change it in fire control. its on the left side in the middle of the screen.
You can do a lot with fire control, it will be worth your time to become familiar with it
For a one time cut, you can adjust feed rate in 1 or 10% increments in Firecontrol. That doesn’t change the file, though. The next time you load it, it will need to be adjusted again.
If you plan to cut this file a lot, you should adjust your feed rate in the tool in Sheetcam and post process it again.
