Yep: tech support. That was a very simple gcode file.
Thank you for your help. I have a submission in to tech support. See how long it takes them to get with me.
Not sure how long: maybe by Friday??? I hope.
I thought of another thing to try: Uninstall FireControl again. But, before you uninstall locate the folder on your computer, uninstall and then delete the folder. Then start with a fresh install.
I will give it a try Thank you
Tried that. I even downloaded 21.1.5 version for older graphics hardware since my computer is a few years old. All the same problems.
Just for kicks, open your program in notepad or word (right click the file and use “open with”). Change the v1.6 in the first line to v1.5. Leave everything else in the first line the same and save. It will save as a .txt file. You can rename it back to .nc but it isn’t necessary as FireControl will open a .txt.
@langmuir-reilly Any input on this problem?
can you screenshot and post this pop up error
That would be interesting! Worth a try.
I do my edits in a document and found that if I left out the first line, FireControl wouldn’t accept it. That’s why I suggest changing it to see what you get. Normally a line in brackets would be ignored but it appears that Langmuir has it look for the first line before loading the program.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will give it a try as soon as I can. Probably going to be a few days from now. Should it work I will let you know.
