PM Sent! This file will be live on Monday but the file I sent should work for now!
I went to the direct link he posted. It downloaded the INF file (I’m putting it on my MacBook Air that’s running Win7 so figured I’d just install it manually). Right clicked the download file and picked “Install”.
Wondering if this is correct.
If you have a THC is the Tool Manager in Fusion 360 providing initial tool feed rates to CAM however once there they can be modified? All the height settings, including the lonely “pierce height” in the link tab can be ignored because post process manages these settings? Also, is the post process automatically setting the maximum feed rate for the Z axis to 100ipm? Last, if cutting thicker plate would the springback setting need to be zeroed or does it matter?
Yes that is correct, all of the Z moves are handled during post processing. None of the parameters specific to Z moves are specified in the CAM operation process flow.
Yes, you should absolutely use zero spring back for 1/8” and thicker.
