Firecontrol download

They said after the first box #2 leave their warehouse.

When will that be? Next week? Next month?

should be starting by end of this week.

You will need the rest of the electronics for fire control to activate. You basically need to have your table together and ready.

Just downloaded FireControl and installed it. It does indeed need to be connected to a table to even play with. Is there or might there be a work around so that we can play with it before out table arrives? Mine is in batch 2 and maybe be here in April or May.

Nope only works when connected to the pro electronics.

Yeah - got it installed as well…we need to see if we can squeeze out the secret ‘test/demo mode’ startup switch :slightly_smiling_face: …if there is one…

Any others running Fusion 360 on a Mac? When I export using Firecontrol Post-processor, I get no actual file saved to the specified path.

After you click ok it will ask you

Welp, that’s embarrassing… I had downloaded the Sheetcam Post. Whoops!

All good.

how do you even apply the post processor for Fusion360.
reading another thread, it mentions copy/paste to the plugin folder, yet F360 doesnt have a plug in folder.

This guide will help you to install our FireControl post for Fusion360

Downloaded Firecontrol, looks good. Too bad we can’t simulate runs while we wait.

wow… that took some tinkering…

think i got it… well see when everything is assembled and running.

i noticed the ZERO ALL AXES tab should probably be spelled AXIS right?

Nope. Axes is the plural of axis.

We would love for that to be possible in FireControl but unfortunately all of the motion control firmware is loaded onto the microprocessors on the board inside the electronics enclosure.

Oh well, guess I will have to be satisfied with toggling between inches and metric and back since that is the only function currently working on Firecontrol;-)

 That’s funny right there!

Installed Firecontrol and installed post for sheetcam. I noticed in the note section of sheetcam post it states:

“For CrossFire PRO and CrossFire w/powered z-axis add-on, be sure to set Pierce Height, Plunge Rate, and Cut Height values in order to activate IHS sequence. There is a 1 inch rapid retract move after each cut loop by default.”

I have the Razorweld 45. Ive looked and cant find info for the pierce height. As far as cut height it would be .06 over material height correct? And what a good plunge rate? Sheetcam default is 3.937 IPM
