Any ideas or solutions??
I have tried and tried but my PRO just refuses to cooperate ! (100% sure it is not the machine:)
Clearly the problem is …ME!
So, I am always getting the same message : FEED RATE ZERO. Clearly I am doing something incorrectly.
I have not been able to use the machine for several months but am confident it is running normally.
Every time I respond to the set up box and re-enter or change the feed rate nothing seems to help.
I am using Corel Draw to create part and SHEETCAM to post process then to Fire Control to run part.
Out of ideas …and yes FRUSTRATED cuz I do not know what I am doing incorrectly
Ideas and suggestions ? THANK YOU all for helping!

Feed rate not found error is usually caused by not creating a jet cutting operation before post processing your design in Sheetcam.
Sheetcam will not warn you that you missed a step in the process. It will just output a .tap file with just a few basic commands from the post processor.
I have some videos that I can share when I get home, but I’ll try to list the steps.
Assuming that you have created at least one “jet cutting tool”
- Import your drawing and select either metric or inches depending on what units you used to design it. If the design is an SVG, you may have to select the 1:1 option.
- Create a “jet cutting operation” by selecting the jet cutting icon in the tool bar that should be on the lower left of the screen.
- Select “outside offset”
- Select the “layer” that you want to cut(there usually is only one)
- Select the “tool” that you want to use for cutting.
- Fill in the lead in/out information with the values that you want to use
- Click on ok to close that screen
- There should be a green toolpath on your drawing(provided that you have “show toolpaths” selected in the top tool bar)
- Press the post process button on the tool bar
- Select the location that you want to save the cut file.
Good stuff David!
David:
You have made my day! THANK YOU for the reply. This problem was making me crazier than I already am!
I wish I could try it today but I’m away until tomorrow, but you can bet that I will be on it as soon as possible. More to come! Thanks again

Here is a Loom screen recording that I did a while back. It doesn’t have any sound, but you should be able to see what steps you may be missing. The simulation at the end is not necessary.
