For some, their careers pick them:
That pic of the breaker bar with adapters…I progressed through my ratchet, to breaker bar, to 3/8 impact, to 1/2 impact, cringed and tried the 3/4 impact, then decided I can’t make the situation worse and grabbed the 1 inch impact…on a 5/16 bolt…that finally broke it loose. Stacked adapters down to my 3/8 drive socket.
Can’t believe that bolt did not fail

the slow start could be the soft start feature. it allows the puddle to form before adding wire to reduce lack of fusion at the start. Your tungsten melting sounds like a polarity issue. at least thats how usually melt mine
You are right!! I had hooked it up backward.
In the HVAC shop I apprenticed in, the joke was when a customer ask what size of air conditioner they needed … " 3 - 4 ton, whatever it takes" was standard response.
We also had a print out with 3 house shaped cut outs labeled 2 ton, 3 ton and 4 ton. The instructions were that you pace out from the house 100 ft and whichever size cutout the house fits into was the size AC that was needed.
This is a obvious joke that most customers did not understand without explaining it but us techs thought it was hilarious.
Also Micheal Keaton is still the best Batman.
Nicholson could have played the joker without any makeup.
