That guy needs a cigar…

I still have a pile of tales in the crypt comic books. Man I read a lot of those things when I was a kid. Sure brings back memories. I still have a couple boxes of comics and cards for when I was a kid.

For the men who have everything. Well, you don’t have this in your shop!

I like that. That was more work than it looks.

I dress like this sometimes when I work in the garage, just to document validity of this claim. Once the data is mature, I’ll report back.

I like that Craig! At first I was cautious to click the link but then realized a post from you would be safe.

For those not able to click Craig’s link, here is a screen grab:

I went to our local “Dump”/Transfer Station yesterday.

I had my dump trailer loaded with trash and the remnants of forms from a recent “driveway drain” project. I pulled up to be waved into the next unloading spot. I watched this guy start to back up and pull forward more than a dozen times before he entered the facility. Once in the facility, he had to pull forward two more times!

I wanted to jump out of the truck and just yank that mattress out of his trailer to save everyone from the misery/entertainment. It was like watching someone launch their boat for the first time!

I feel your pain, Jimmy. The shorter the trailer, the more difficult it is to back up. These kids show up at the marina with a 10-year-old Duramax lifted up and the wheels sticking out of the fenders because they got the wrong wheel offset. OK, back to the story. They have a 12-foot jet ski trailer with a $20,000 jet ski on it. I watch them for several minutes before offering to handle the situation. That’s my story.

I will do everything I can to avoid backing my log splitter. You can’t see it until it is too late!!!

I just unhook and move it by hand. Now I have one of those dolly’s for smaller things. It works great.

I’m in the club. I do the same thing when moving the log splitter with my Tacoma. I use the tractor if I’m going to a field or anywhere that moving the splitter by hand is a no go.

I think if I ever take the splitter off my property, say to split at someone else’s place, I’ll just load it on my 10’ tilt trailer and haul it.

True story: I loaned my splitter to my daughter’s father-in-law. I loaded it in my truck with the tractor and sent them with the truck and some ramps.

I had no idea what they were in for. They unloaded it fine but getting that log splitter up the ramp with his wife and my daughter’s help almost lost the splitter. I have since gotten a 5x10 equipment trailer with the drop down ramp. So easy to haul golf cart, lawn mower, log splitter, metal or lumber. I even put a hole thru the ramp so I can carry 20 foot lengths of rebar and metal.

I mounted one of those HF 2500lb ATV winches and a battery tray on the front of my 10’ tilt trailer. It’s been coming in handy more often as I get older.
Got some cherry drying on it this morning. My wood rack is on the North side of my garage so after splitting I often let the stack sit in the sun a few days before transferring it.
