Craig, you would never need to feel uneasy of any “open carry” tape measure. You would always “measure up” in any circumstance.

10 is my go to for gas saving, 12 seems to really eat the argon.
I use both sizes. I just want a good weld argon is the least of my issues. If they would leave me alone all day. No one can make a decision at our place.
So do they yell hey bigdaddy help me!?
No, they call me Big John. Just today, I was rebuilding a land-based pooper sucker system in my shop that the boats use to suck out their septic holding tanks—a shitty job, to say the least.
In comes a mechanic with four broken bolts in an outboard cylinder head. I guess I’m the only one that knows how to extract a broken bolt. It is a learned science, you know. The whole Big Daddy thing comes from a tattoo across my back from my old days in a motorcycle club.
So that is what the Mrs calls me. Every time she does, I smile at myself. Life is good.
Oh I have had my share of broke bolts. It is a art. I do enough of them a EDM would be nice.
I was just going to say if they call you Daddy tell them you will bust their rear like a daddy.
People bring me their snapped off bolts when they want an easy out snapped off inside the broken bolt.
You know engineers like a good challenge.
Before posting this item, I want to say that I have met many very nice women with the name “Karen” so I feel sorry for them to have ‘their name’ drug into conversations in a derogatory manner.
That being said, someone has created the “Karen Card”
A 3D printable card:
I’d say that car scored pretty well in rollover crash evaluations!
I ve hire like this before. I had a new kids show up years ago. At the time I was very busy I literally took the resume, didn’t look, told him to get in the van.
Best apprentice I’ve ever had.
I have one just like this guy. 20 yr old that is a total gear brain. Competent, punctual, and actually want to master these skills. The best part is that he has no drama following him to work.
He is an old soul in a new body. I hope he stays till I retire.
That reminds me of the time, in my 20’s building my house:
I got to feeling pretty cocky with my 16d nail gun and was annoyed with how long it was taking to hand nail the joist hanger nails. So I carefully lined up to shoot a 16d nail in the hole of the hanger.
…except I was not quite lined up. It almost seemed like before I pulled the trigger that nail gun recoiled back and slammed me in the forehead. I thought I was going to pass out. I didn’t try it again…I didn’t want Darwin’s theory emphasized.
