I really love the Furik cups, especially #12; it’s my go-to choice. Although it says “no A/C,” I find that they work great. I’ve never had any issues with them, except for dropping the torch occasionally. Nowadays, I almost exclusively use 1/8 inch tungsten.

Sorry for the rant, but I just had to mention the Furik cup I saw on the torch.

Probably why most of us lefties are also at least somewhat ambidextrous. :+1:t2::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Indeed. I still have to think about how I’m going to learn a new manual skill - right or left handed. And I don’t know how I decide  Sometimes it seems easier to go with one or the other and it seems maybe it’s just very fine motor skill tasks that I learn using my left hand. Otherwise the world is freaking right handed so all directions in how to do something are right handed.

My boss showed up in a new car like this, I said “wow, nice car!” he encouragingly said “IF you work really hard, put in extra hours, show up for work early, and strive for excellence, I’ll buy another one next year”

I don’t know if your boss has a sense of humor or just arrogant. I found a couple examples of responses I would like to share with him/her, if they were my boss, but wouldn’t :

I agree, it would be a great museum piece. But as already mentioned, it was cut up and distributed around. I have a home in Granby and even this many years after the event, there are many in town that knew Marvin and the story is still a bit raw. There are still reminders of his muffler shop around town if you know where to look.

I think Granby destroyed it so it wouldn’t become a shine.

It’s a good one but also an example of what happens in really long threads:
