What, donât like banana measurements, or the 1/8" of fluff before the ruler starts?
What I hate is the tape measures that have both regular inch measurements (1/12th of a foot), and 10ths of a foot (1/10th of a foot). Screwed me up more than a few times.
I agree. I believe that is a drafting ruler. The reasoning is you donât have to bring the pen all the way to the end and can line up points. Old-school stuff that gets purchased by mistake.
Actually itâs an architectural or draftsmanâs scale. Theyâre really use for reading dimensions off of scale drawings. They and other rulers that start the scale at an offset from the end are made that way so they maintain their precision even after the ends get dinged up from being tossed around.
If you canât see the offset, then maybe you ought not be measuring and making things
I cant believe Tin did not know this? Guess that goes to show âyou dont know what you dont knowâ
He knew it. It was a test for the minionâs.
Iâll tell you what happened. He picked it up an measured something with it and it was 1/8 (3.175 mm) â of inch to long. He threw a hissy fit after he saw it. â I hate the metric system.
