I’ll bet that it is an Amazon Mitutoyo clone. I got sucked in once on the too-good-to-be-true Mitutoyo calipers. If a $200 set of calipers is $79, then it’s your fault. It got me, and I learned my lesson 
by the way the claw hammer move was epic.
