ez scriber for the xr

I am trying to use the EZ Scriber on my XR table. Iam trying it in dry but its not acting right. Can anyone help me correct settings for the tool. Iam using Sheetcam and a Hypertherm 45 sync.Also how do you program it to scribe and cut on the same part. I have it programed with different layers right now. any help will be appreciated . Thanks in advance.

EZScriber provides instruction on how to do it in Sheetcam.

If you want just for kicks, you can easily do it on Fusion as well.

If you use dry run, it won’t cycle the IHS.

I have never done it but you need to turn off THC and obviously turn off the torch.

Different take on adding a pen to Crossfire Pro

Like others I have wanted to add a pen drawing device to my crossfire pro for some time. Initially I wanted to mark bend lines for the brake and draw nonstandard brackets to check bolt hole and other alignments needs prior to cutting them in steel. I have seen others, but I didn’t like that some of them require you to take out the torch to draw then reinstall the touch etc. So wanting to keep it in place while cutting require it had to be made out of something non-burnable or meltable.
