Everlast 62i- Machine torch pins

Ok I have a new issue. I have recently upgraded my air system and am back to trying to get my CFP to cut. The new issue is that my Machine torch will not fire at all. When I switch to my hand torch, it fires up just fine. All I’m trying to do is the Torch On/Off test right now
Settings:

  • Running CNC setting
  • 78 psi
  • 45 amps
  • tip and electrode are the same as hand torch (1.1mm tip and appropriate electrode)

I’m thinking that maybe a pin came out of the machine torch connection one of the times that I was pulling it out.

Pictured, hand torch left, machine torch right.

What pins should I have for the machine torch? Quick search tells me I should have Pins 1,2,4,&7. I have the 9 pin on both torches. On the hand torch i have 1, 2, 4, 7, and 9. The machine torch has 2, 4, 7, and 9.

This is all I can come up with as the difference in the setups.

This might be your answer…and I think you are right: “It is wrong”

Pins 1 and 2 fire the torch. You need both. This link describes some other solutions:

Machine torch is wired right. You don’t need #1 as it controls the trigger on the hand torch.
