I have purchased an e-stop button and would like to know the best way to wire it in. Could there be a way to wire it in with the mach 3 computer stop button? I think just cutting the main power isn’t the right way to do it. I also want to add limiting switches later, but emergency stop is my first order of business.
I’m working on adding a button. Give me a little bit longer and I will have everything worked out.

are you looking to use one of the input on the motion controller to pause the program? Estop is already listed in the ports and Pins set-up I think you just need to assign a port # and pin.
It’s a little more involved then that.
