Does the Torch Height Control monitor the height continually or only when it starts a different part?
Continually via a cutting voltage feedback system (that’s why we sample the voltage output from the plasma cutter to the torch) . As tip to work distance increases, there’s a proportional increase in voltage, this tells the THC to lower the Z-axis. Conversely, the reverse occurs when distance decreases.
